Kate started her career in 1999 at PKF (Guernsey) Limited where
she spent four years in the French tax department, learning her trade and strengthening her interest in France and French
property. Kate dealt with French income and wealth tax filing requirements for both non-French residents and French residents,
was a point of contact for new client enquires and assisted with the marketing of the department. During this time, she also
passed her ACCA exams and qualified as an accountant. After 6 months travelling the world, Kate spent a further year at PKF
(Guernsey)
Limited before moving to Artemis Trustees Limited as a Special Projects Officer. This interesting and varied role saw Kate
involved in UK, French and foreign tax and estate planning for high net worth individuals, attending meetings with Tax Counsel
in London, overseeing the management of a Château in the South of France, playing a role in the management of a prestigious
Parisian apartment, assisting with French tax filing requirements and participating in worldwide property transactions and
management issues, including budget preparation and monitoring.
After leaving Artemis in 2007, Kate spent a brief spell at Northern
Trust International Fund Administration Services Limited as a Team Leader within the European Property Fund department before
realising her dream and starting La Belle Vie (Guernsey) Limited.
Kate now splits her time, with the mornings spent at a local trust
and company administration firm dealing with the preparation of annual accounts and monthly reporting requirements, and afternoons
and evenings devoted to La Belle Vie. She has also found time to recently pass her Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française
(DALF) at level C2.
Outside of the office, Kate enjoys cooking, travelling, dancing,
rugby and a good bottle of wine.
