Established in February 2008 by Kate Brehaut (see Staff Profile page), La Belle Vie (Guernsey) Limited combines a true love of France and property with professional experience and technical skills.

                      

As a young company, La Belle Vie brings a fresh and friendly approach to the subject, and aims to provide an invaluable service to non-French residents who have, or who dream of having, property in France, whether as an investment or for their personal enjoyment. Many people can find the French tax system daunting and this can make them think twice about buying a property in France or has them burying their heads in the sand and neglecting their French tax obligations.

 

La Belle Vie hopes to allay any fears by providing clear and concise advice on the French tax implications of owning French property, and assistance with French tax filing requirements, so that there are no unpleasant surprises in the future. For those who have already taken the plunge and own that French property, the Company will be able to assist with any outstanding French tax filing requirements to bring their French tax affairs into order, as well as dealing with French tax filing requirements on an ongoing basis so that there is no longer any reason to bury your head in the sand.
